* FurReal Toys from Hasbro – these furry little creatures are lifelike and adorable. They’re pricey, but the kids will love you for it.
* WebKinz Toy Plush Dolls from Ganz – these dolls captured the minds of millions of kids last year and continue to do so this year. Each purchase provides a token that can be used to log onto a virtual world where kids can interact with other kids with their virtual dolls.

HDTVs, Gadgets and Gizmos

Looking to buy a new HDTV (if you don’t have cable, you’ll need to go digital by February 2009!), a cool gadget or a gizmo? Check out the ideas below:

* Kindle: Amazon’s Wireless Reading Device – move into the 21st century with this electronic book reader from Amazon. Your grandmother might object to reading on this, but for you younger folks out there you’ll appreciate the cool electronic bookmarking features, note tagging, and other enhancements that are possible with a tie-in to the Internet. This is one of the coolest gadgets this year.
