How to Live a Good Life and Still Have Money

When I was in high school, my European History teacher used to interrupt his lectures with stories of how his first wife left him because he had no money. “No finance, no romance; no money, no honey!” he would constantly remind us. To this day, I still chuckle when I hear his voice in my memories, warning me of the realities of the world. Now, at age 32, I fully understand the lessons in life he was trying to prepare me for. And while I recognize the value of his lessons, at the same time I feel that he was probably too cynical for his own good. Just like any adult who has “grown up”, I recognize that money is important in our lives – that without money, you can’t eat well, dress well, drive around in a fancy car, travel to faraway places… you can’t live well.

Yet, there are people out there that are not spending a ton of money and still enjoying a “good life”. How do these people do it? How do they seem to do it so effortlessly?

I am not claiming to have solved one of life’s most elusive dreams nor am I saying that I am an expert on saving money. But I can say that I have learned a few things that have allowed me to live well without being filthy rich. Above everything else, what you need is a change of attitude and perspective.

My blog seeks to help those that are seeking to live well without spending a fortune. By adopting a different attitude about life and money, I hope readers will learn that you can lead a rich life without actually being rich.

Check back soon as I add various tips that I have learned on saving money while not sacrificing the quality of my life.

    Sassy,

My apologies. I have done some things with WordPress which should make the pages load a bit faster. Looks like I may have to cut down on the experimenting with too many ad networks!
