In these financially tumultuous times, it’s hard to find a bank that you can trust. HSBC is a U.K.-based bank and one of a few that have not been impacted by the sub-prime loan crisis afflicting most of the banks you have been reading about in the papers.
The HSBC Direct Online Savings Account has no monthly fees and requires no minimum balance. HSBC offers consumers a 3.25% Annual Percentage Yield (APY)* - over 9 times the national savings average**.
The HSBC Direct Online Savings Account can be connected to any checking account, at any bank. Deposits and withdrawals are easy and convenient, too. Applying is easy! Just click on the link below and follow the simple instructions.
Earn 3.25% APY* in Online Savings.
* Annual percentage yield (APY) is variable and subject to change after account opening. Minimum balance to open an HSBC Direct Online Savings Account is $1.00.

Good banking deals may be a little harder to find right now, but they are still out there. Venture Bank Direct is one that I have heard some good things about. Their APY is currently 3.80%, which is one of the better rates I've found.
