Cheap Clothes at Ross

Now, my wardrobe isn’t seriously fancy at all but I do have shirts from designer labels such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Armani, Calvin Klein, J. Crew and the like. And for work, I have a ton of business shirts that I’ve bought largely from Macy’s Men’s. But when I need “replacement” wear, the first place I head to is Ross.
I’m not exactly sure if this is true, but I get the sense that Ross stocks inventory that has long been passed over at the larger department stores like Macy’s or Nordstrom. As a result, some of the items they carry are not in the best condition and may be out of style. But when you need a comfortable pair of shorts or some jeans for home wear, who cares?
I’ve been able to find a lot of good deals at Ross and for discounts as high as 75% off the retail price. The challenge is finding clothes that match your size. While in most cases, you can find clothes in your size, you may not be able to find the item in a color you like or a style you prefer. But you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
For the most part, Ross fulfills my needs for daily home wear at cheap and affordable prices. I don’t know about you, but while I’m at home, as long as they’re comfortable, I could care less whether my clothes are from Armani or Ross. I do care that I can get comparable quality and comfort for half the price.
